Our Story

We opened because Portland deserved better bubble tea.

Portland Bubble Tea started from a simple observation: most bubble tea shops treat the pearls as an afterthought and the tea as a backdrop for syrup. We reversed that priority.

Our tea is sourced from estates in Taiwan and Fujian. Our pearls are cooked in small batches throughout the day — never held, never reused. Every drink is built around the specific tea base first, then layered with fruit, milk, or specialty ingredients that complement rather than conceal it.

We're located on SE Division, in the heart of one of Portland's most walkable corridors. Come in, watch the process, and taste the difference that patience makes.
